What is Flying Plastic

Flying Plastic is the working title of the feature length motion picture script written by Kris Mickelson "Professor" and Bryan Van Meter "Crimson Chin".   Two Disc Golfers who believe in the power of the plastic, and its ability to set you free.  If you have played the game then you know what we mean and if you have not then WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR !!!

The Professor and the Chin will stop at nothing to promote the game of disc golf.  In 2004 these champions of the chains designed and built their first 18 hole course.  "The Ridge" is a tight, tree-lined course in the small Sierra Nevada hamlet of Pollock Pines.  A small amount of seed money from the local home ownerÂ’s association and a ton of sweat-equity made their first dream come true.  Realizing that truth is always stranger than fiction, The Professor took score cards and notes from over 1,000 rounds played at various disc golf courses mixed that with 87 12-packs of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale,  14 Bic lighters,  81 packs of Camel Lights, 1 tired ass lap top running Windows 98, and turned it into 90 pages of marketable brilliance. Flying Plastic is sinking the eight ball on the break, a bulls eye at full gallop, its the prom date's baby.  Yeah, its like that.

In 1990 Nintendo Released Heavy Shreddin; a Snowboarding video game for the NES.  Four years later snowboarding was an exhibition sport at the Lillehammer Winter games. In 1998 snowboarding became a full fledged Olympic sport.  This opened up a lucrative  market ripe for those smart enough to cash in on this new lifestyle.  In 2000 there were 900 disc golf courses . Now there are over 3,000 world-wide. There are over 40,000 Professional Disc Golf Association members and PDGA events hosted over 70,000 players in 1,100 sanctioned tournaments during 2009, a 75% increase since 2004.  The point is, disc golf is going super nova right now.  Nintendo Wii now has four different games with disc golf...

One last thing; if you are a film producer interested in a star based platform that has never been done before, contact us via email.  If you read this and the whole time your lips were moving, you could be a disc golfer and don't even know it.
